Has anyone had similar problems to myself trying to extricate themselves from the Shannon town road grid system at nightime when it is very difficult to get bearings & out onto a main road - there is a distinct lack of signage?

That and a ridiculous decision (IMO) about 15 years ago by the local town council to name all roads and new housing estates in Irish.
