Rose trouble

    Dear all,

I planted some fledgling rose bushes. They suffered from a bout of green fly. So I sprayed them with a solution of washing up liquid. I was too zealous; I oversprayed them and failed to dilute the washing up liquid properly. Now my rose plants resemble scorched earth.

Ok I'm an idiot! Completely stupid.

The plants are not dead (I see new leaves). Should I just cut them right back and let them grow healthy? Or will that confuse the plant (ie its the season for growing!) and play havok with its clock?

    Any and all advice welcomed.

Just cut back the worst of the dead bits and let it get on with it. Maybe give it a bit of a foliar feed. Roses are very forgiving.
