Pet insurance for 12 year old dog

    Does anyone know of any insurance companies that will insure a twelve year old dog?
    She is in excellent health, neutered and micochipped but any I have found will not insure after eight years old.

    No. Unfortunately not. None of the companies will insure a dog over 8.

    If you start insuring puppies are you able to continue insuring/renewing them past 8 years

    Yes, but if for example you insure a pup at 8 wks, then keep the insurance for 8yrs, then for whatever reason you let it lapse, they won't let you re-insure the animal, no matter what
