Repairs for 08 Qashqai

Looking for advice please. 08 Qashqui (76k km) needs a new clutch and 2 suspension parts (wishbones). Local Nissan service department has quoted around €1.8k for genuine Nissan parts and around €1.5k for genuine clutch and generic wishbones if I get both jobs done together.

Aside from new tyres, this is the first time the car has needed anything. I have a couple of questions please:

Is it worth my while to get these repairs as it's a 9 year old car. Is it likely that other parts will need replacing or is that impossible to predict and depends on the individual car?

If I decide to go ahead with the repairs, is this a fair price? Would I be better going to a non Nissan place or better to stick with the Nissan experts?

    Would appreciate any advice/comments please.

Do not bring a nine year old car to a dealership for work like that... Any good local garage will probably carry it out at half the price..

Thanks thats what I was thinking but since I haven't been in this situation before I wasn't sure if that would be advisable. I'm guessing it would be generic parts but thats probably fine for a car its age.

So how best to proceed... Do I phone a local place and tell them what needs to be replaced and let them quote me? Or do they need to do their own check and if so will that cost me?

Call into or ring an auto factors they'll use the reg and price the parts for you.

Phone a couple of local garages and ask for a price on getting a clutch and wishbones replaced... see what prices they come back with.
