Health Care & Waiting Lists - Looking for people on lists

    FYI, Got the below from Boards.ie: Niamh
    We had a researcher from RTE in contact with us about a documentary they are making regarding health care and waiting lists. I believe it's a follow up to the one aired earlier in the year about hospital waiting list times. We've agreed to post looking for participants for them - I've posted it in the Media & Research forum.

    However, this documentary might be of interest to some of the Midwest region forum regulars; they are looking for patients on waiting lists for specific treatments in University Hospital Limerick or Croom Hospital in Limerick and also for endoscopy (including a gastroscopy or colonoscopy), in University Hospital Galway.

    Yes l am on a waiting list for years and years at university hospital limerick. I am on more than one list. The hse sickens me to the core, they are a scandal of the highest order.

    I will never as long as l live forget a few years ago asking my gp for a gynaecology referral to be told I'd have a 4 YEAR wait. Is it any wonder so many people are depressed and suicidal in this so-corrupt country
