Don't live out there, but there's a few routes to cut across from the Headford Rd to the Tuam Rd and then either via Parkmore, the N6, or even through Ballybrit Bus Park to get you to Doughiska.

all depends... off-peak (maybe on Sunday mornings at 0300am!) it's a 25min to Headford.... but give yourself 1hr for the first while cos you could meet the heavy traffic in Cloonboo (people slowing down to let Annaghdown and Corrandulla traffic in), cyclist, traveller sulkies, a crash, the numerous 40mph drivers....
and the most straightforward is to go left for Castlegar.. maybe Ballybane Ind. Estate, then the main road to Doughiska...

50 minutes would be my guess for Douighiska. If you take a left, go by Castlegar just after Ballindooley Store then turn onto the Tuam Rd and head on your way that'd be 50 minutes I'd bet.
