    Hi there,

We're getting some renovation work done on our house at the moment and noticed the contractor was using "Xtratherm Thin-R Underfloor XT / UF" [link] as the internal dry lining insulation..

Can anyone tell me if there any any consequences of using this insulation.. I assume there are wall specific insulations [link?]

Additionally I noticed the battens are in place but no joins have been taped at this point. Is this an important step in sealing the insulation?

    Thanks

    R
