    From reading it I can gather that it was a show of hands for people who wanted to get off and get another flight as there was an engine issue and not a show of hands to actually fly with a faulty engine.

    This story first appeared in a well known red top known to twist "the truth" to suit its own agenda, so we should let common sense prevail here

    As above, probably but the best the best they could hope for would probably be a tiny apology hidden away somewhere obscure on the site/in the paper, completely disproportionate with the coverage the actual story got.

    OK, on the basis that the less oxygen we give to fake news sites the better, I think closing this thread at this stage is probably the best plan, and I am going to update the first post to make that clear

    Shore, if it was easy, everybody would be doin it.😁
