    I do not plan on using them in the house, but they are biodegradable and they allegedly break on impact. Although i think only some break on impact and only if you have left them soak for longer.
    There is a video (i think if you watch the first one and leave it play about 4 videos after) of somebody shooting kitchen towel with them, and it doesn't break the towel, so they are also safe enough.
    i should probably also mention, mine are not for kids, they are for me :D

    (To shoot unsuspecting Nephews and maybe the odd Niece).

    Arrived today , very quick delivery . Tried the balls but they wont shoot , think i left in water too long . Will try again later ......

    Mine arrived last week, Balls in water for a few hours fired okay, and burst/broke/exploded on most surfaces. But the balls that i left in water do not shoot very well, two come out at a time etc.
    The sucker darts are great :) They only need to be pushed halfway in (no need to force them in) and they fire and stick to most flat shiny surfaces (windows, fridge, oven, TV, etc.).

    I think the less time the balls are in the water the better (they also resort to their small hard state after they break and are left alone).
