Sky+ HD box - blank blue screen?

Watching a channel, then the screen goes blank and the "sky+ HD please wait" message appears followed by a blank blue screen. Switched it off at the mains, however same result when powered on again. Its an oldish amstrad 890 model. Box knackered?

Cant access any channels. Box is unresponsive. Just a blank blue screen.

EDIT: back working now. Powered it off at the mains again with the card out.
