Have a new car this year and the usual jet wash / brush wash aren't removing dried in bugs from the front bumper. I don't want to go scraping at the paint with anything.

Anyone know the best way to remove these bollockses gently?

My usual trick involves a bucket of water, a few microfibres, tea and a sandwich.

Soak the microfibres in the bucket of water and once soaked, spread them over the bugs on the car. Then go eat the sandwich and drink the tea. Check that the towels are still wet and re-wet if needed. Then have the second cup of tea. Once the tea is gone, remove the towels and wash. They soak should have softened them up enough to wash off.

I usually soak them for up to half an hour before I wash.

CarPro Tar-X is great for bugs.
