Adam West has died at the age of 88.

I loved him in the 60s Batman series and his appearances on Family Guy. Remarkable how he stayed relevant across many generations.

Yes he was one of the best things in Family Guy.

It's a big loss for the show

Fair play to Adam, he had a great career

The 1960s TV programs consisted of a story spread across two episodes on consecutive days, the first program always ended in a cliffhanger and we were told to come back tomorrow - 'same bat time, same bat channel'

    RIP the best Batman ever!

Hollywood lost its original Batman over the weekend with the passing of Adam West, and now Los Angeles is planning what can only be described as the coolest tribute imaginable. Tonight at Los Angeles’ City Hall, LA Mayor Eric Garcetti and LAPD Chief Charlie Beck will join the good citizens of LA to light the iconic Bat-Signal in tribute to the late star.
