Looking on some advice or insight on the Mir Sport with the Airboost function? Is the Airboost simply a novelty or does it add a little bit more to the shower pressure?

I've never seen one in action so wouldn't like to knock it totally. Their claims are unusual imo. 30% increase in flow rate without using any more water doesn't make sense. The flow rate is litres per minute of water. So a 30% increase has to use 30% more water. The claim is nonsensical.
That's my opinion on the claim & their wording but that's not to say that it doesn't give the impression of more water and more pressure. If it were me I'd find out who has a working demo. Davies in Harmonstown, Dublin 5 might have one as they have a lot of mira shower desplays.
If there are no working demo models anywhere I'd suspect that the claims are false.

Edit: Be aware that this is a mains fed shower and not a Pumped electric shower. You will need good constant mains pressure for this shower to work.

I didn't know that it was mains fed only, that rules it out then. Thanks for the feedback though as I'll be doing the main bathroom next year and will be looking for mains fed unit to replace a current one. Cheers
