So it looks like the samsung note 7 will be back, with all the same parts barring a slightly smaller battery.
While not much is confirmed it looks like it will be about half the price it was originally, so would you go for it?
I must say i would be interested, hardly like it is going to catch fire again :)

It's between this or the OP5 for me. I have my doubts it will be sold in US or Europe though. Most likely it will be Asia only. Hopefully I'm wrong as it will be a lot of phone for small money

Will ICAO/FAA revoke the ban though?

If it's sold here/Europe and usable (bans lifted) then if it's between €400-500 I will probably upgrade from my S6E+ The S8 doesn't do it for me (don't like the odd form factor) and the S7E is just a bit too small for my likes. This would be perfect.

Using an S8 at the moment and I'd deffo sell it off to fund a Note 7 if it becomes available in Ireland/ Europe.

Wonder what the chances are of getting one from Korea? I really want one of my two replacement coral blue note 7 back :P
    It was a fantastic phone!

Few articles online saying it's July 7th release for Korea. They are putting the delay down to them increasing the number of units from 150000 to 450000 which is promising in terms of supply and demand.

It's being reported that the Note 8 will cost a grand...
Samsung is making preparations to launch its most expensive cellphone yet, telling partners that its Galaxy Note8 will retail for €999. The 6.3-inch device, with the same edge-to-edge, 18.5:9 aspect ratio AMOLED display as in the Galaxy S8 lineup, will be unveiled in the second half of September

Between the massive price and the screen ratio (which I don't like on the S8), I think a refurb Note 7 is a far better choice.. bet they won't sell them here though

IIRC, Note 7R "note fe" pricing confirmed to be in the region of €700. Although some are saying €600

Remember, this was €800 last year. Talk of a sub 500 phone was probably a bit optimistic.

With the S8 Plus debuting at 900 euro or so, it was pretty much the price i expected.
