Does anyone know how long it takes to hear back after a medical assesment for illness benefit and do they contact you if you passed or is it only if you fail

When I was on illness benefit I didn't hear anything after my medical assessment? which it turned out, I had passed. Before they did the assessment the nurse told me that this is just a review for them to see how I'm getting on and to continue sending in my dr certs as normal unless I hear otherwise from them.

They called me for another medical assessment 6 months later by which time my illness benefit had reach the max 2 years.
