Mobile Phone advice while in the US ?

    Hope this is the right place to ask..

    Looking for some advice re my options for mobile coverage while travelling to the states for a few weeks. Data / Voice. Am with Vodafone in Ireland but don't know what to do to keep charges down when in the US. Anyone offer any advice pls ?
