I was just looking into applying for colleges in America, and everywhere mentions requiring GPA, SAT and SAT subject tests.

Was just wondering if they take Leaving Cert into consideration at all and how it would be possible to calculate your GPA from an Irish education system.

Afaik, all offers will have been made well before LC results day. They'll judge you on your SAT/ACT score, the results of any SAT subject tests you do, your GPA which would be based on results in school exams and assessments (this is obviously likely to be less accurate than in the US where schools will have designed procedures for calculating GPAs and standardising them to a set distribution), guidance counsellor supporting letter, class rank, maybe a piece of work, and various other factors like that.
