Applying to jobs abroad or get other experience?

Hello my apologies if this is the wrong forum for this thread,

I recently graduated with a postgrad in I.T., I do not have much work experience as my course was based on projects instead,
however I was involved in many interesting projects with excellent results.

I've been applying to jobs in Ireland but to be honest not too happy so far, my course was centered around Big Data and I feel that most jobs here are for Tech support which I'm not sure my skills would be applicable to, or very advanced roles that I obviously do not qualify for.

I'm only 22 and have no attachments here so I was thinking maybe I should look for work outside of Ireland, was wondering if anyone has any tips on how to apply for jobs abroad or recommendations?

Or should I apply for unrelated jobs (i.e. retail etc...) just to get more experience?

Thank you very much in advance!
