BHAA Trinity Track 14 June 2017

I've always wanted to do this, but have missed it every year for one reason or another. I think I'm free to do it this year, but just had a question or two.

The standards: my XC standards from various years in the BHAA are 11, 12 or 13, so that looks like I should go in the women's 1-14 2k race, but just anecdotally, are the standards accurate? I don't want to be lapped by loads of speedy track stars if I go in a standard that's too fast!

Do most people do the 800 and the 2,000?

Do most people wear runners? I presume it's not XC spikes? (or is it?)

You'll be well able for 1-14! Those numbers aren't set in stone however. Last year they had all the women running together in the 2k. Depends on how many turn up.

I ran last year and loved it, and will be lining up again next week. AFAIK the majority of people (myself included) ran both races; I had about an hour between mine. Most people seemed to be wearing runners in the beautiful weather we had that evening. Looking forward to it

Another very good turnout for Trinity Track, and the weather played ball too. I'll definitely be back again.

Yep, me too I hope. Brilliant setting and very well run, with a good range of abilities and competitive racing. All good.
