I've always wanted to do this, but have missed it every year for one reason or another. I think I'm free to do it this year, but just had a question or two.

The standards: my XC standards from various years in the BHAA are 11, 12 or 13, so that looks like I should go in the women's 1-14 2k race, but just anecdotally, are the standards accurate? I don't want to be lapped by loads of speedy track stars if I go in a standard that's too fast!

Do most people do the 800 and the 2,000?

Do most people wear runners? I presume it's not XC spikes? (or is it?)

    Thanks!

You'll be well able for 1-14! Those numbers aren't set in stone however. Last year they had all the women running together in the 2k. Depends on how many turn up.

I ran last year and loved it, and will be lining up again next week. AFAIK the majority of people (myself included) ran both races; I had about an hour between mine. Most people seemed to be wearing runners in the beautiful weather we had that evening. Looking forward to it :)

Another very good turnout for Trinity Track, and the weather played ball too. I'll definitely be back again.

Yep, me too I hope. Brilliant setting and very well run, with a good range of abilities and competitive racing. All good.
