    Hi,
I am currently with Vodafone but my broadband connection is very slow.  My house is very far from the telephone exchange which I have been told is the reason for this. I was considering changing to a Digital Provider but want to avoid have to bring cables from the mast into the house. I have heard that Sky routers may improve the speed over the router that Vodafone provide or should I just go with the digital provider given that both Sky and Vodafone use Eircom lines?

"Digital Provider" What do you mean? Sky Digital? That gives you TV, not internet. The internet would be the same.

    A modem/router won't make a bad signal any better.
