    Hi guys

Will be getting the DART from Bray and heading to Maynooth on Friday morning, but with a bit of a tight timeline between both trains. Is there any way I can check in advance which platform the Maynooth bound train at 9:46 leaves at? I have tried the IrishRail site and journey planner etc. as well as the pdf timetables to no avail! Also how much time should I leave between trains - is 5-6 mins enough or is there a bit of a distance between platforms like at Heuston?

    Thanks

Bray Dart will let you off at platforms 5, 6, or 7. 6 and 7 are just the two sides of the one platform, so only feet apart. Access to 6 and 7 from 5 requires using an underpass, but very quick.

As far as I've ever seen, Maynooth trains generally come in at platform 7. Platforms 1 to 4 terminate in Connolly from the north, so if your Maynooth train departs from, say, Pearse, it'll come into Connolly at 5, 6 or 7. And I'd guess 7.

Journey Planner shows the platform. It looks like it's Platform 3 all week.

I'd get off the Dart at Pearse street. Same platform and the Maynooth train starts from there so it should be very easy to get a seat.

Bad advice... the 9.46 the OP asked about starts at Connolly

Thanks guys - very helpful much appreciated! :)

Yes Peppa normally I would change at Pearse but unfortunately it's not an option for the train in question.

That particular train departs Connolly from platform 3

    Train times page

Click the "show details" link for platform etc.

Dart comes to platform 1 at 9:29, commuter train leaves platform 3 at 9:46. Should be plenty of time once the dart is reasonably on time. .
