Putting up a crush on land away from home. The crush will be in the open. I have a Cashel gate at home which I'm not happy with. Any views on best crush gates. I will probably look at getting a head scoop also as I will probably build a shed there in time

You might consider using Pipes sunk in concrete( up to ground level ) that crush can drop into .
That way Crush can be quickly removed to a different location when Sheds etc are built in the future .

I bought a Condon gate last year, think it was 350 including vat, really good quality galvanised gate

I Don.t know what your budget is.. but i bought a morris headgate as stock were getting too cute for the semi automatic gate.. ran an extension bar back so i can close from 3m behind the animal.. easier on man and beast..
If you have two ppl, one feeding into crush and one handling it allows you to stay working stock non-stop.. was expensive but really speeds it up!

Might turn out to be a bad idea, especially if its on and out farm.

Ya. The only thing left in my crush on an out farm this spring was the head gate and the uprights. Don't make it any easier for them to steal things.
