A few day ago, I realised that I really want to become an accountant and It's what I have passion in. I have an arts degree. I'm 25. I really want to go into accountancy. What's the best route into accountancy? or even faster route.

I would greatly appreciate any kind people whos willing to help me out here. Thank you in advance.

I was similar, 23. Started in practice and went straight into doing the acca exam's.

Benefit is that you get your experience and exams done at the same time. Also the practical side of accounting you will be doing day in day out. Helps you understand the subjects you are studying for.

I went through Dublin business school, though that's a while back now.

Also acca provide a degree I think, Oxford Brookes college, you do a thesis after the second set of exams.
