Can't VRT my car..

I went to VRT my car last week but I was missing a few things.

    *Ferry ticket
*Proof of address in last six months
*Spec sheet with BHP and CO2 emissions.

I have everything else except the spec sheet.
I've rang Mazda 10 times and finally they said they have no idea how to get me a spec sheet for my eunos roadster because it's a JDM car.

My last day to get this car VRTd is tomorrow as I'm going on holidays for two weeks. I don't fancy getting fined either.

Any ideas how I can get a spec sheet stateing the BHP and CO2 of my car.

Found an old (UK) MOT exhaust emission test result. Would they accept this I wonder.

If it's on uk plates and you have a V5C form, is the emissions not on it?

You shouldn't need proof of CO2 to VRT the car. I VRTed my 180sx without it. I didn't have proof of BHP either.

You will be charged at the max rate of 36% without proof but should still be able to get a price.

I can't see why you would need BHP to VRT the car?

as mentioned above, if you can't furnish proof of emissions, they will VRT it at the highest rate.

But the emissions should be on the main page of the UK v5 even if it's a Japanese import?

If it's a Eunos Roadster it's a '96 at the latest (Eunos brand was dropped after that) - motor tax in the UK wasn't based on CO2 emissions until 2001, so I suspect it's not present in the V5 as it was not required.

So then really shouldnt apply in ireland then either since its all cc based

For VRT now it's all either CO2, or the full 36% as mentioned above.

IIRC the motor tax will be based on engine displacement based on the date of first registration - unfortunately this may be based on first registration in the UK (not Japan) depending on what data they have available.
