Shooting is not ongoing, situation is stable. Multiple confirmed fatalities
Occurred one week before anniversary of Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando last june..could easily be coincidence.

    From CNN:
Five people, including the shooter, are dead after a shooting at an Orlando, Florida business headquarters, CNN affiliate WFTV reports.

Police say there is no connection to terrorism. It appears to be a work-related incident, WFTV says.

    Not enough people had guns...

He was a former employee, who didn't take his sacking well, to say the very least.

This thread is strangely short, compared with those about other recent mass killings.

I dont think Americans shooting each other is found newsworthy by most people. Thats just a regular day.

No one is trying to excuse the actions of the shooter, assign some noble if misguided aim to the shooter or blame the victims, so its going to be fairly short.

Mass killings in the US are not big news any more.

    But...

Passing new gun laws in the USA will be big news if it ever happens.

It was newsworthy enough for the thread to be started. Anyway, the perpetrator is yet another man and I wonder if maybe it's time for those of us in the male community to speak out about this sort of thing.

I am sure there are plenty of workers in this country who have felt like murdering their boss when they got the sack, but fortunately, being Ireland, they wouldn't have had a gun available in their pocket at the time.

Why do we have so many f**king dopes posting this type of crap? Do we hate ourselves that much as a nation?

Sorry to drag the thread off topic but this nonsense from hurlers on the ditch is really starting to wear thin.

Of course this is nothing to do with the USA's gun laws.

More people would have been killed only for the gun laws.
