    Hi guys

I do small research on used cars market and would like ask about your experience selling second hand cars.

My friend selling used cars for about 6 years and says that this year is just nightmare, sales during the recession was a lot better than this year.

    What about yours ?

Because 2nd hand prices are insane. With available finance options it only makes sense to buy new.

People are starting to have money in their pockets and are back getting a decent, steady wage so they are back going to the dealerships for their cars. Not so reliant on picking up a bargain motor :)

Thanks guys, but its looks like dealers does not feel any better :

    https://www.rte.ie/news/business/2017/0502/871964-car-sales-down-by-a-quarter-in-april-simi/

Its says that there is significant growth of used cars from UK but stay quiet about export from Ireland. Here is ad I found in internet :

    http://dealerdirect.ie/listing/irish-cars-and-4x4s-wanted-for-export-from-ireland-2/

Also RTI says that sterling lower rate rise the export from UK,but as far I remember ,during the recession sterling rate was a lot lower than now.
