Can anybody give me some tips or recommend a product for getting stubborn dirt out from under nails? I use cleaner with grit in it and a scrubber brush and the little scraper on a nail clippers but there's still dirt there.

Could be stains not so much dirt. Soaking in lemon juice or baking soda should help, even denture cleaning tablets dissolved are recommended to shift ingrained stains.
