    Looking for contact info for gun clubs based in dublin/wicklow. Looking to get into the sport but being city based landowners permissions are in short supply. Any help appreciated. Thanks

    If you are looking to join a Gun Club to hunt game / vermin you will find it extremely difficult if you are not living in the immediate area of the club.


    if you are looking for landowners permission to hunt game / vermin on their own land you will just have to call to them & enquire.

    If it's only clay shooting then your sorted with the above (there's another at the back of Swords).

    But if it's for game shooting etc then the clay pigeon clubs are not the way. You'll have to detail the use of the firearm on your licence application. If you say it's for hunting you'll most likely be asked to present land permission.

    I chipped in because you mention 'land permission' and as J.R mentions Gun Clubs while your post is titled 'clay query'
