Im filling out forms at the moment for application of a flock number. When we bought the land the bank wouldnt give me the loan as working in uk etc so father got it in his and put house against it etc.  The problem is the land is now registered in his name and on the form it only allows one name as owner of the herd/flock. Is there some way i can be the herdowner or do i need to have lease etc in place with my father for this??. It is asking for copies of maps etc (which are registered to my father not me).

A signed stamped lease will be needed or you should be able to get a joint herd number.
It might be a different form Er 1.1?
You can have more than one herd owner but only one keeper. The herd owner can even be a company but the keeper has to be a person.

Can your father not get the herd / flock number, and then once he has it - transfer it to you...

It would be two sets of forms, but it might be easier?

    Just an idea...
