I am just wondering what salary science graduates can expect in the pharma industry. I read recently that 28,500 was the usual but can anyone here corroborate that?

I recently recieved an offer below this at 25,000 and was a bit disappointed as I have a 1.1 level 8 degree. I hope to negotiate it but wanted to check here first. Thanks for any help.

What role are you applying for? Salaries would vary depending on department/role.

I think 25k starting salary sounds about right as lots working in pharma would have MSc or PhD. Big pharma companies tend to have good staff perks so look at whole package not just the salary.

Take the 25k wage it will lead to a lot bigger things down the road as remanber your just out of college and your not skilled at all in your area.

Keep quite and work your ass off and you be in the 30k range in no time
