Major Problems with Vodafone and Siro

    Can anyone help me resolve some long term issues I have been having getting connected to Vodafone Siro?

    After months of finally being able to get an engineer out from Siro to confirm my house was passed and been given a Siro ID, I've had to contact Vodafone on 3 occasions before they finally took the order. It seems their employees are really not up to speed on how to process a request to connect to the Siro network.

    I was told my house was good to go and signed up for a connection and was given an account number. I was contacted the following day to be told that an engineer would call to connect my house on Friday 2nd June. Needless to say, Friday came and went so I contacted VF yesterday and they have told me that I cannot get the service and that my account had been cancelled. When I asked when this happened and why I wasn't informed I was told that it was on the day I ordered????? This didn't make sense as I had a call the next day to confirm that an engineer would call. I kept getting transferred between customer care and sales as nobody in VF seems to know anything and now I'm being told that I cannot get the service even though Siro have 100% confirmed via email that a connection can be provided. I have to say I am extremely unhappy with the service from Vodafone.

    I'm goin going to call them again today but really don't hold out too much hope.

    Has anyone else had a similar issue and maybe can point me to who I should try to get in touch with?
