Dog limping after getting up

For the past two days, I've noticed my dog is limping when walking around after he's been sleeping for a while. He hasn't been as agile jumping into the car/onto the bed for a while either. He's a terrier x breed, otherwise fit and healthy. He has a daily walk/run and tears around after a ball. We mostly walk in fields and woods, so the ground is generally softer than walking on the road.

He's always done a funny little hop/skip with that same back leg, when he'd come to a stop, ever since he was a pup. Could this be an underlying problem starting to manifest? He's almost 5 years old now.

Might be luxating patella. Either way worth checking with your vet, when it comes to the legs it can be a multitude of things.

As above, probably Luxating patella. Unless its very bad, its nothing to worry about.

Probably best to pop into the vet on Tuesday for a check. Probably will be given rheumacom anti inflammatory liquid (nurofen for dogs :) )

Its very prevalent in small breeds.
