    Hi all,

Just back from our 3rd year straight in Trabolgan!! Not very exciting, I know but suits our needs at the mo.....2 kids (5 + 18 months)
That said I'm getting a bit bored with the place itself but we do like the overall model - enclosed holiday village with amenities on site etc.
So my question is what else is available to us in this country in this vein or do we need to look foreign? Not adverse to the likes of Wales (Haven/ pontons etc) but would prefer to keep it local.

    Thanks

    Try Kerry.

Beaches and lots to see and do.

Plenty of caravan parks around there too.

But would they have on site entertainment/restaurants/pool etc.

We would need these things on site

I work at a hotel in Killarney & can honestly say it's one of the most beautiful places I've ever been.

I moved here a year ago & have fallen completely in love with it.

    Highly reccommend it!

Banna beach is supposed to be great with kids, have never been myself but loads have recommended it.

Did that place up the country ever materialise? The one that was supposed to be like centre parcs?

You'd have to pay extra for all those. There are pools. There' beaches. Lots of restaurants ...but I know what you mean as regards a complex. None of those I know of

Getting built at the moment. There are a good few hotels with apartments or houses on site that would provide close to what you get in trabolgan. Quality Inn youghal, clonakilty, gold coast in dungarvan, all of those are in parts of the country where theres plenty to do. One in Leitrim, name escapes me and Knightsbrook in Meath also do similar.
