When Ryan Tubridy used to present the 2fm breakfast show going back maybe 12-13 years ago he regularly played a song that was similar to the frog chorus (we all stand together etc...) . I used to love hearing the song but for the life of me can't remember what it was called. Anybody got any idea what it was?

He used to play this a lot during that time...doesn't sound like the frog chorus though:

are you sure it wasnt the one i linked: Manhattan Transfer - Chanson D`Amour??

he used to play a huge amount of rat pack/"lounge lizard" stuff -stange to think of that time now compared to the current breakfast effort.

Maybe e-mail john clarke or john mcmahon who were the producers of the show??

I can't think of any song that sounds like the Frog Chorus

    Which part of the song?

    Bom Bom Bom...?

Win or lose, sink or swim?

I may have been hasty associating the song with the frog chrous.... 🀔
What I meant was it kind of had that theatrical sort of similarity to it. Thanks for the suggestions thus far 🀡

The only songs I remember he ever played were Life of Riley- his main theme tune

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WCm3bS6wXvk

He also regularly played the Gay Byrne Show theme tune a bit I think- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WF-uZuce5R0

    Any help?

Prettty sure it's Dempsey on Today FM that played (plays?) the Life of Riley.

Ian Dempsey plays regret by new order.

Life of Riley was def used by one of the breakfast shows (could well be Dempsey but I would have said tubridy too)

That was from when Shane O Donohue was co-hosting.

He used to play 'Alone again or' by Calexico a lot too. Not really what the op is looking at but I remember that for some reason.

This song always reminds me of Pipes of Peace, Cyndi Lauper's All Through The Night and a smattering of The Frog Chorus. Might be just me though....
