Was skimming through 'Latest Posts' and saw one entitled "Batteries for Robot". In less than a second I was transferred back in time to standing in a large toy store in America, with my kids. We were standing near a life-size Darth Vader, and there were buttons on a console in front of it. Press a button and Darth says something Star Warsy back to you. My lot weren't all that interested in it, but an American kid of about 8 or 9 was there banging away on the buttons. His old man was standing there beside, probably dreaming about Princess Leia. Anyway, say I to yer man " for God's sake, don't buy it for him , you'll be killed putting batteries into it". His head swivelled towards me and he just stared at me, like I'd made some lewd suggestion. I have American in-laws and already knew their renowned sense of humour, eejit.
