Botox for facial palsy/ nerve damage

Hi folks, seeking some advice on treatment for the after effects of Bells Palsy. I had this a number of years ago and was left with permanent nerve damage.

That in turn over the years has caused muscle atrophy in my face which is becoming increasingly disfiguring despite regular facial massage.

Does anyone know anything about treatment for this, such as botox or fillers ? I don't mean from some wrinkle-removing cosmetic clinic, I mean from someone suitably medically qualified in this area. And ideally in Limerick / Clare area.

    All advice welcome, thanks .

It is worth seeing an oculoplastic surgeon - they specialise in eyelids and facial asymmetry. Botox, fillers, and surgery can play a role, depending on the patient.

I don't think I can put surgeon names up here but maybe I can PM them - maybe a mod can advise?
