Lots of grass and 3kgs of nuts twice a day. What age is she?

But build it up from 1 kg twice a day to 3 kgs over a week or 10 days.

Its a scourge. If I am ever buying in an animal over 2 years they will have to be johnes tested

Is the test reliable? Always thought it was more of an ongoing monitoring test.

It's not 100% accurate. But better to test than not to test

No harm to blood her for johnes and any of her offspring over 2 years

Had one few years back and got the advice here to test, I usually wouldn't bother my arse but on this occasion I had her isolated and luckily so. Came back positive and I hung her up. It's not worth the gamble with her, if all your calves pick it up your in trouble long term.
