CO2 emissions - official figures for Irish cars

    Does anyone know where I can get the official CO2 figures for different makes of cars? specifically, I am trying to get the Peugeot 508 2.0 HDi (163bhp) figures.
    A lot of web sites are stating two figures,
    1 = 129g/km
    2 = 149g/km
    I can only assume that the higher one is for the auto and the lower one for the manual. I am currently looking to buy from across the pond and loads of cars have different figures entered (on the tech sheet/page) and I am guessing that the ads are just incorrect data entry. The Revenue site states the lower value when I calculate the VRT but I can't seem to find a web site with the official numbers for the cars.
    Any help greatly appreciated.
    thanks.

    Yes usually it's if the car is manual or automatic, sometimes it can be a later revision of the engine with lower CO2. If you get the reg and put it in to this it will give you the CO2 amount...

    They will go off the Co2 figure on the car's v5 registration document so ask the seller for the figure listed on that.

    You can put the uk reg into cartell.ie and it gives the emissions for free.
