Hi. I just got a test informing me I can use my data allowance of 15 GB while roaming in the EU from June 15. I am on the Old Select Unlimited
34-50 plan. Emobile say they will send a text on arrival in the country where I am roaming and let me know his much data I have to roam

Can I ask is this amount the unused monthly balance I have from my monthly allowance of 15 GB or some other Emobile calculation because I am roaming which is less than the balance remaining if I were at home.

    Thank You.

    Hi quartz1,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

In relation to roaming data, if you have 15GB inclusive in your plan, you can use 6.3GB of this whilst in the EU as Fair Usage Policies apply.

You will not be able to avail of the full 6.3 GB if you have used most of the 15GB before going away.

I would advise checking your data allowance on Myeir for your data balance as you will be charged standard rates if you go over your allowance.

You will receive a text message when you arrive in the EU country advising you of your standard charges.

    Thanks,
    Anna
