    Just wondering on timing belt change on this too


    Make RENAULT
    Model GRAND MEGANE
    Description 1.5 DCI DYNAMIQUE 90 5DR
    Engine Capacity 1461

    Milage (km) ~110,000


    When would it be due and can I get any Indy to do it? By that do they need special tools? Should I get water pump done at the same time?

    150k kms or 5 years.

    Renault offer them for €599 so use that as your benchmark for independent quotes.

    There are special locking tools but it's such a common engine that any half decent independent garage should have them.

    Average independent price would be €350-400 for full kit with water pump and alternator belt.
