Mortgage for a property with a tile effect steel roof

Hi all,

I hope this is the right forum for my question.

I viewed a house today that I have made an offer on, but I need to know if it is mortgage-able.

The house is about 10 years old, a bungalow, with a standard shape roof.

The roofing material is tile effect steel sheeting. It looks to be well finished and in good condition.

Will the banks consider this property as standard?

I will of course have my own engineer view the property, but I need to know if the bank will accept the property for the mortgage.

I would suggest you see if its insurable, which I believe it is.
I don't see a lending issue.
