Does anybody travel the Athy Dublin train on a daily basis? Is it possible to get a seat on the 6:41/7:15 when boarding in Athy. Likewise the return journey in the evening?

06.41 is fine, it only starts from Carlow is usually a 5 coach AFAIK.

07.15 likewise should be ok but it's a very busy service particularly on Mondays but there should be enough seats by Athy.

Returing in the evening on the 16.40, 17.35, 18.35 you may have to stand until Nass or Newbridge just depends on when you arrive but 15-20 minutes you should be able to find a seat at most.
