Renault Megane - problem with phone connection via Bluetooth

I'm driving a 2011 Renault Megane Estate GT Line with Sat Nav.

I have my Samsung s4 connected to the car by Bluetooth and initially there was no problem. However over the past couple of months while the phone is connected the sound on the radio goes off for about a second. This happens maybe once or twice a minute. When I turn Bluetooth off on the phone the problem disappears.

Any idea what the issue here might be? I have not tried to start from scratch and reconnect the phone from the beginning.

I'd similar with S5 on Renault Fluence. No fix but as workaround I deleted connection, reconnected but set contact list not to download to car. It worked but you dont get caller ID or car phone book. Changed phone from Samsung and worked fine since.

Sounds like its just an issue with the Samsung so. I'm happy enough without the caller I/d so I'll do a job on it this evening so.

Bit of a pain but kind of attached to my s4.

    Cheers.
