Companies that support working from home

    HI.
I am living in rural Ireland which is a 2 hour commute to Dublin each way.

I work in IT and have had no luck getting anything locally since I was made redundant 6 months ago.

I have a young family so it is impossible for me as mother to do this commute daily. Although I could commute 3 days and work from home for 2 days but I need a job that will offer me this flexibility.

Just wondering what has people's experiences of companies in regards to this. Is there any large multi nationals that support people working from home a couple of days . I have heard SAP is good and IBM ?

Flexibility and working from home is not something that is usually advertised on a job spec.

Anybody have any advice on how to tackle this or any advice on Dublin or Galway companies that have a good flexible policy for employees .. Thanks so much for any advice

Worked in public service for a good while. Working from home not an option. See you done interview with dell. They plan on having 50% WFH in next couple yrs and 80% later.
