No space to store a tent

I'm going on a camping trip this weekend with a bunch of people. One of them is looking to borrow a tent & is refusing to buy one because she apparently has no space to store it.

I havn't met this person before but the whole week I'm trying to imagine what kind of a dwelling this person lives in. Perhaps under the stairs in a houseshare with just some clothes and a laptop and even the addition of a biro would mean she'd have to store it on her duvet and sleep under it.

Or perhaps she lives in a modest size dwelling but everything inside looks picture perfect with two candles on the table and one picture on the wall and any gift that a person brings her is dismissed as "clutter". Any other ideas what kind of a place she might live in?

A box, shed maybe or still living at home in a box room.....

She obviously doesn't want to spend that's most likely...

maybe she doesn't realise they fold down :pac: ,

A belief in gender identity involves a level of faith as there is nothing tangible to prove its existence which, as something divorced from the physical body, is similar to the idea of a soul. - Colette Colfer

It would be more realistic if she said something like she didn't want to buy a tent to only use it once.

The correct reply in this situation is "Oh, I'm sorry you won't be able to make the camping trip." Unless she's hot, then she can share yours.

Was tempted to say you do realise the new ones fold up into a neat little bag unlike the old mongolian ones that need a dedicated horse and cart to carry them

More threads where the OP brags about all their storage space.

    We get it, you're successful!

    Thinly veiled.

She is just cheap and making up an excuse to cover it.

She could buy another, larger tent and keep it in that?

    I have 3 tents!

They're all stored in my mother's house though.

Tell her to feck off and buy her own the scab. You can get a small one for 30 quid. She can store it in the bin when shes finished with it. People like her make my blood boil.

Perhaps she lives in a tent? There is hardly any storage in them.

    Imagine the sex?

    It'd be in tents.

Tell her to get one of these:

That way she can just look at it as buying a new jacket, problem solved!

30 Euro! You can buy a few Tesco Value tents for that price.

Probably a fine young thing that knows rightly she can wrap some foolish/horny lad around her little finger to get to stay in the tent for the night.

Where did you say we're going camping?

Don't. You'll only yurt her feelings
