Baggage Storage

    Morning All

I am bringing my Daughter ( 10 yo ) to Old Trafford on Sunday for the Michael Carrick Testimonial, flying ex Dublin T1.

However due to events last Monday week, the KO time has been brought forward, meaning we have a long wait in Manchester Airport for the return journey.

I am wondering ( if we bring a small bag & a tablet ) is there a facility for storing in either Dublin T1 or ( preferably ) in Manchester. NONE of what we would like to bring with us will be permitted ( understandably ) into the Ground.

Apologies Mods if this is in the wrong section, please feel free to move as required.

I don't think there are any left luggage facilities in airports anymore for security reasons

There are no lockers in Manchester airport but there is a private company doing baggage storage

The same company are also at Manchester Piccadilly Station which is central so easy to get to.

Thanks everyone for the informative replies. Think we'll go hands free to avoid any hassles.

I take it mobiles are still ok though?

Where specifically do you mean OK?

Going into OT, the standard is that if you have a bag it is searched. Have you seen something specific stating bags are not permitted?

Hi, sorry for only getting back now: Yes, I got SMS's from OT last week warning me NO bags will be permitted into the Stadium. Is this a permanent feature from here on? Not sure, but I saw everybody being searched on Sunday, and no bags were allowed in.

With sensitivities and UK official threat level so high I would think it is a temporary situation. Although most public places may well be reassessing their security protocol in like of recent tragic events.

Even matches in the Aviva in Dublin no longer allow bags, seems to be a fairly permanent measure it seems
