I've been looking at autotrader and motor.co.uk, but getting frustrated at the number of cars that don't have the kwh for battery listed and also the reg numbers hidden:mad:

In my googling, I came across this website http://www.nissanusedcars.co.uk/en.GB/homepage.htm It appears to have all the cars that are on the main websites, but more importantly it lists the battery capacity AND the registration number, making it easy to check before contacting any dealers. The ones that I checked using http://mycarcheck.com (just the basic search), the details all matched the capacities stated on the website, so I'd say both are accurate and a good tool for leaf hunters:D

@mel.b - did you find any 30kW that were not specified on the ads as 30kW?

No. On the Nissan search I was using a pretty tight criteria price wise and there were only 3 30kwh cars and all three of those are listed on autotrader as 30kwh.

There were a few listed however as 24kwh that when I did the checkmycar check it didn't come up with any battery version, just said 'Nissan Leaf Tekna' etc.

Is there any way to determine which cars have a leased battery? I see the "Grade" option lets you select Flex cars but surely of the 429 Leafs listed more than 2 of them are Flex cars?

If you list from lowest price to highest price, usually the ones at the start are flex. In fairness, *most* of the time it is stated.

I always assume the cheaper ones are Flex cars but of the 15 or so random cheaper ones I checked none of them mention Flex, or battery leasing. Or am I missing something else here? At this stage with UK cars I'm starting to assume that if they don't mention that the battery is owned then its a Flex car.
