What the hell did I just watch?

That was AWESOME!

The gore effects weren't great but it was very adult, lots of bad language, interesting characters and it was a hell of a lot of fun.

13 weeks of this? Hell yeah.

Though what happens when she needs to refuel. I mean everyone else refueled before the race but she didn't.
Nice memorable way to cross the finish line.

One review I read said it may be better suited to somewhere like cinemax where they can just let go. No need for the black boxes then. Though I'm pretty sure Chris was on full display.
US tv regulations are confusing me. I mean this had swearing and violence, yet a cable channel like AMC can't have swearing.

I think the black box worked to be honest and made it more funny.

Yeah I think they were intentional. Fits with the Grindhouse theme. I don't think you'd see an erection on SyFy (or any TV network for that matter).

Episode 2 continued right on from where episode 1 finished so so so fun.

The only thing I find irritating was how bloody stupid that cop is. What part of "They'll explode your brain" does he not understand? Anyway, there was always bound to be something stupid like this in it, so I'll forgive it. I just hope he cops on now (unintentional cop pun ) and gets on with the race.

Have watched the first 4 episodes so far and it is extremely enjoyable.. so many nods to old sci fi, b and horror movies.

I found out last night that Slink is played by Colin Cunningham.

He played Pope in Falling Skies. How could I watch 8 episodes and not realise that? He looks (and acts) completely different.

Was sure they were going to reveal Arthur was the Primo before. It did look like him when Grace met him at the club. Though that was probably just to trick people, since how would she forget him.

Really like Aki. Not just the outfits, but her exaggerated walk.
Surprised Grace didn't mention she looked like the Chinese woman's daughter

That's annoying. Still watching at FX UK's pace. Hopefully there is a decent wrap up to the show.

I thought that wrapped everything up and did leave it open but not too much.
eally enjoyed the finale and the season overall.
Expected Aki to attack them after finding Christopher.

Grace has her new CW show, Valor, and Arthur has been cast in the Titans series.

And again, I loved how Aki even managed to get her hip popping walk in just walking a few feet to Slink.

Just finished this. What a damn shame it was cancelled - unashamedly nuts but clearly a work of passion.
Julian Slink is one of the best characters I've seen in a long time - I imagine he'll make a few cosplay appearances. From reading up afterwards, Colin Cunningham was very much into the role and put a lot of heart into it. Damn shame we're not getting more.
