    Hi,

Looking for recommendations for places in Dublin to get wedding dress alterations.

I know there was a thread a while ago recommending a few places but I can't find it!

Has anyone had experience with All Alterations on the SCR? I think that was the place that had been recommended before!

I'm hoping to only a few modifications; maybe a slightly raised hem at the front and the dress is a very flowy lace material, if that makes a difference.

    Thanks :)

No experience with All Alterations, but I can't recommend Sew Creative in Donnybrook more, I got my dress altered from a full length dress to tea length, and it was unbelievable. It was made of really delicate lace and they just did a brilliant job!

Hiya - I did a bit of research and All Alterations came back as the best every time! Also a lot of the city center bridal boutiques use them.Called them yesterday and they couldn't have been more helpful!

I've actually already booked them for my bridesmaids outfits, just really double checking they're good before I go ahead and book them for myself :o

    Hi GingerLily,
I used All Alterations and I can't recommend them highly enough.
The lady (named Celine I think) gave me loads of advice from transporting the dress to bridal underwear (!!)
The dress was immaculate when I got it back - I was really pleased with the service.

I've mine booked in too! :) I know Myrtle Ivory use them and they are high end so they can be trusted. 4 of my friends used them also and said they would recommend :)

I think its depends on the dress and whether it has beading, lace etc! Anywhere from 150 upwards!

I understand that, just hoping if I know a few different prices for different jobs I'll have a better idea of what to budget

I had Celine as well, she did a fantastic job. The fittings were very quick as well, I was generally in and out in about 20 minutes. Book your slots far ahead if you can, especially if you need weekend days. They also sell veils, belts and jewellery/hair pieces there. I got my veil and a hairband there and the hairband was about half the price I was quoted somewhere else for a few hairclips.
