kitchen worktop

    Hi all I am thinking of replacing my kitchen worktop,but would it be cheaper and tidier to recover the old one,is it possible to do that to a kitchen worktop,thanks

    Don't think it's possible to cover the old worktop, especially if it has curved edges, can you put up some pictures

    I've seen people covering work tops with contact paper, which I think is readily available in the likes of woodies etc. It looks fine, but obviously wouldn't be very heat resistant. That said, laminate worktops aren't at all heat resistant either

    New worktop doesn't have to be particularly expensive if budget is an issue OP.

    Bullnose laminate worktops are relatively cheap, if you can get away with a 3m or 4m length, even better.

    Ikea do solid ones cheap enough. (Relatively speaking)

    I think the one I got is called Hammarp or Hamarp, oak.
